Not wanting to waste an afternoon, Larry and I took off for the Balloon Museum. Triple A ranks it as a gem attraction and we enjoyed it. Albuquerque is famous for its Balloon Festival in October, but this museum dealt with balloons of all kinds. One interesting display told of the bombs from Japan sent to the U.S. via airstreams (of a different kind) via balloons and one even killed a group of church picnickers from Oregon.
